Originally constructed in the early decades of the 19th century, the Princess Farm stands as a testament to the burgeoning Romantic era in Sintra, Portugal. This architectural marvel emerged at a time when Sintra was transforming into a prominent center for Romanticism, marked by the proliferation of grand residences for nobility and the affluent bourgeoisie along its forested slopes and winding paths. The property, meticulously designed by António Costa Lima Arquitectos, encompasses a sprawling 1900 square meters and was successfully completed in 2025.

The architectural firm, António Costa Lima Arquitectos, led by António Costa Lima himself, spearheaded the project. Their team, including Hugo Lopes Martins, André Pinto da Cunha, Luís Cardiga Santos, Pavel Rosales, Teresa Cândido, and Bernardo Lino, contributed to the comprehensive design. The civil engineering aspects were handled by P2S, while EJR Construções managed the general construction. Lighting design was provided by MC Lighting Projects, and ENESCOORD oversaw project management. TOPIARIS was responsible for the landscape architecture, ensuring that the surroundings complemented the house's historical grandeur.
