This quaint structure, known as La Maison de la Pointe, echoed a bygone era when lakeside getaways were characterized by simplicity and charm. The challenge arose as the original cottage, through years of additions and modifications, no longer met the contemporary requirements of its occupants. YH2 Architecture embarked on a mission to reimagine this dwelling, aiming to provide a functional and aesthetically pleasing home that honored its historical roots while embracing modern living.

The architectural intervention by YH2 Architecture thoughtfully addressed the need for expanded and updated living spaces. Instead of a complete overhaul, the design preserved the spirit of the original cottage, integrating new elements that blend seamlessly with the existing structure. This approach ensured that the residence retained its connection to the property's history and its idyllic lakeside setting, providing both comfort and a sense of continuity.
