Its striking, spiraling exterior, adorned with reflective panels, houses a vast public space designed for fluid exploration of science, technology, and nature, moving beyond the confines of a typical landmark. The Hainan Science Museum, envisioned by MAD studio founder Ma Yansong, distinguishes itself from conventional museums by fostering an environment of seamless integration and exploration. Situated adjacent to the Wuyuan River National Wetland Park, its design prioritizes an uninterrupted flow of space, knowledge, and function.
